In September 2014 Eastern Point Retreat House will suspend its schedule of retreats and will close for much needed renovations. It is our hope to reopen in May 2016. In the interim, please check the retreat schedule at Campion Renewal Center in Weston, MA. www.campioncenter.org

In Christ,
Joanne A. Fantini, CSJA

With  sadness, we share the news that our a beloved  spiritual director, colleague, and friend. Sr. Maddie Tiberii has made her final journey home to God- today (January 13) at 1:15 am.
Sr. Maddy, as she is affectionately known served the EPRH community with boundless joy and an abundance of gifts for  13 yrs. Sr. Maddy guided countless retreatants  as they came away to this sacred place to grow closer to God, tending to the needs of retreatants and the ministry of the house in myriad ways with her warm smile and generous heart.
All who walked through the doors of EP were greeted by her warm smile and welcoming presence for which we are forever grateful and will be dearly missed.
Maddy entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Springfield on September 15, 1958.  After completing her novitiate, she was missioned to St. Joseph's, Pittsfield, Mass for many years.  Cathedral High School was her second mission.  Then she went to Kowak, Tanzania for a few years but became very sick and returned to MA.  Upon her getting well, she studied Spiritual Direction at CRD in Cambridge.  Upon completing her studies, she became a spiritual director at Eastern Point Retreat Center for which we are forever grateful.
On Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 10 AM people are welcomed to greet Maddy's family.  At 11 AM, there will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial at the Mont Marie Chapel, 34 Lower Westfield Rd, Holyoke, Ma 01040.  Burial will follow the Liturgy.  All are welcomed!
